eBay is a listing surface. The SKU may already be selling in the store and on other marketplaces. The eBay listing still carries its own price and its own quantity, and those two have to match the one record Unison holds across channels.
A listing can sell down over a weekend while the store still shows yesterday's stock. Unison reads eBay onto the same record as the rest of the catalog, so that gap is visible before anyone opens a second tab.
Writes to eBay are how a listing catches up: a missing SKU goes live, a price or a quantity moves inside the band, or the listing copy is rewritten for eBay.
If the record already has the product and eBay has no listing for it, the launch creates that listing with price and stock from the record. Listing, price, and inventory go out as one action, and you see eBay accept it.
A sold-down quantity or a stale price is a write back to the listing, kept inside the band. eBay's number and the store's number are meant to meet on the same SKU after that write.
The title and the description can be rewritten for this marketplace, from the brand's own catalog. The product stays one row. The listing reads the way eBay shows it.
Inside the band, a listing change can publish. If someone should see the new title or the new price first, it can wait. A price or a stock move that leaves the band is blocked, and the live listing stays as it was.
The product film shows an example month. Ask for last month and eBay answers on its own line: revenue and the change, in seconds, with every other marketplace on the same pass. In that example eBay is $6,210, up 11.0%.
The charts behind the line come from eBay's orders, catalog, inventory, and payouts. Restock and revenue forecasts use those orders too, with days of cover, so a listing that is moving can be refilled from the same record that holds the store.
When the product launches the Aurora Candle, eBay receives it if that SKU is missing there: the listing, the price, and the stock the record already has. A question about why the line moved is answered from the brand's own orders, ads, and catalog.
eBay enters the scope the same way every listing surface does. We need the channel named, the login located, and a straight answer on the connection before price and stock are allowed to write.
Is eBay selling today, and which other channels are live beside it. Amazon, Walmart, Faire, Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, TikTok Shop, and anything else already taking orders. A channel you plan to open is part of the same list.
Who can open the eBay seller account today. Listings, price, and quantity all hang on that login. If a teammate, a virtual assistant, or an outside operator holds it, we want that named on the call.
We ask whether eBay has a clean API. Orders, catalog, inventory, payouts, and the writes for listings, price, and stock depend on that answer. The question names the channel and stops there.
Which listing writes may publish on their own, which wait for a person, and which are blocked outside the band. Price and stock on eBay are the two that most often need a rule before the first write.
Price and stock here have to match the same row the store and the other marketplaces use. How that row is built is on the platform.
Amazon reports last month on its own line, revenue and the change, on the same pass that returns eBay.
A SKU missing from Walmart can launch from the record the eBay listing already sits on.
Faire's catalog and stock are read with the eBay listing, so wholesale and the listing share days of cover.
Shopify can hold the SKU the eBay listing sells. A price change inside the band can reach both.
WooCommerce is the store the brand already runs. The eBay listing's price and stock still have to agree with it.
Etsy is the other listing surface where variants usually make the price and stock match harder.
TikTok Shop orders and ads answer from the same catalog the eBay listing is matched to.
We'll ask which channels are live, who holds the eBay login, and whether the channel has a clean API. If price or stock on that listing has pulled away from the record, that is the first write to talk through.
